Review: High Noon Snowbird Pack

by Jeff Ellingson

The High Noon Snowbird Pack was just released with two new flavors, Raspberry and Plum.  Lemon and Peach complete the pack.  Bar Stool Sports Dave Portnoy said he sampled a few new High Noon flavors before selecting Tangerine to be included with Passion Fruit, Pineapple, and Pear for the launch of the High Noon El Pres pack.  I’m guessing Plum and Raspberry are the two flavors Dave also sampled.  Snowbird is a Limited Time Offer Mix pack but all of the other High Noon LTO packs including their Original, Tropical, Pool, Game Day, and El Pres pack are still available.  With the addition of Plum and Raspberry High Noon now offers 16 flavors.

High Noon Raspberry:  The aroma leads with raspberry jam.  The sweet raspberry entry builds to a fresh tart raspberry peak.  It fades with raspberry jam, foamy soda water, and creamy vodka and finishes with raspberry puree taste.

Grade: A

High Noon Plum:  The aroma leads with grape and whole plum.  The sweet plum and grape soda entry builds to a ripe plum peak.  It fades with tart plum and finishes with sour plum, lemon peel, grape bubble gum, creamy soda water, and soft vodka notes.

Grade: B+

High Noon Lemon:  The aroma leads with fresh sliced lemon.  The tart lemon entry is joined by notes of Sprite building to a tart lemon and vodka peak.  It fades with lemon juice and creamy soda, and finishes with whole lemon and smooth corn distilled vodka taste.

Grade: A-

High Noon Peach:  The aroma leads with fresh peach.  The ripe peach entry builds to a juicy peach peak.  It fades with tart peach and finishes with creamy soda, premium vodka and real fresh ripe peach taste.

Grade: A+
