Review: Ole Smoky Tennessee Blackberry Whiskey

Ole Smoky Tennessee Blackberry Whiskey is one of 15 flavored varieties Ole Smoky crafts in Gatlinburg at the former Davy Crockett’s Distillery.  Ole Smoky acquired the distillery in 2017.  The other flavors include Salty Caramel, Mango Habanero, Salty Watermelon, Cinnamon, Root Beer, Peach, Cookie Dough, Peanut Butter, Sour Raspberry, Red Velvet, Amaretto, Cookies and Cream, Tennessee Mud, and Bourbon Ball. Review: Revel Stoke Blackberry Whisky

Revel Stoke Blackberry Whisky was just released.  It is one of eleven Revel Stoke flavor varieties.  All start with their Original Blended Canadian Whisky base.  That base is made from a blend of rye, corn and malted barley.  It is triple distilled in copper stills and is aged for 3 years in charred white oak barrels.  The whisky is delivered to Phillips Distilling Company in Minnesota where natural blackberry flavors are blended with the Canadian whisky before bottling at 70 proof. Review: Bird Dog Blackberry Whiskey

Bird Dog blackberry whiskey - CopyBird Dog Blackberry Whiskey was introduced by Western Spirits in 2009.  Since then they have added a peach, hot cinnamon, maple, and an unflavored Bird Dog whiskey.  It is made with corn, malted barley, and rye, and it is aged in white oak barrels.  Two all natural blackberry flavors are then infused before bottling at 80 proof in Bowling Green Kentucky.
