Review: PomAcai Vodka
PomAcai vodka was introduced November 2012. It is the second vodka from Pure Holdings. Their first Purus, was originally owned and developed by Anhueser Busch through their Long Tail Libations subsidiary. A-B spent two years and millions of dollars developing Purus through a distillery in Northern Italy. When Inbev acquired A-B they were shut down. The division was initially acquired by Fire Tail who then sold the business to Pure Holdings two years later. Review: Absolut Berri Acai Vodka
Absolut Berri Acai vodka was introduced February 2010. Their limited edition Los Angeles flavor was the inspiration for this flavor. Los Angeles was Absolut’s second US cities flavor and it was introduced in 2008. LA featured the same flavors plus acerolo, a cherry native to South America that Berri Acai doesn’t have. It is one of twenty flavored vodkas Absolut creates for the US market in Ahus Sweden. Berri Acai is made with Swedish winter wheat and pure deep well water. A continuous distillation process is used before all natural acai, blueberry, and pomegranate is infused. No sugar is added before bottling at 80 proof. Read more
