Review: Boardroom Fresh Cranberry Vodka
Boardroom Fresh Cranberry Vodka was launched November 2016. With Thanksgiving only days away I thought it was a good time to review a Thanksgiving Day themed vodka. To the best of my knowledge no one has yet created a turkey, dressing, or gravy flavored vodka so cranberry was my selection. Boardroom Fresh Cranberry is made from a 100% non GMO corn vodka base. The vodka is distilled in a Hagyo custom built 530 gallon still and then infused with dried cranberries. About 150 dried cranberries are needed to craft one bottle of Boardroom Fresh Cranberry Vodka. No artificial flavors, color, sugar, or preservatives are added before bottling at 60 proof. Read more 
Review: Smirnoff Sourced Cranberry Apple Vodka
Smirnoff Sourced Cranberry Apple Vodka was just released. It is one of three vodka flavors Diageo has introduced in their Smirnoff Sourced line of flavored vodka. The other two flavors include Pineapple, and Ruby Red Grapefruit. Each flavor is made with 10% real fruit juice from concentrate, bottled at 60 proof, with certified colors, and no high fructose corn syrup. The Cranberry Apple flavor also has Elderberry extract added. Smirnoff Sourced is gluten free, leading me to believe the vodka base is distilled from corn. Review: Skyy Infusions Coastal Cranberry Vodka
Skyy Infusions Coastal Cranberry Vodka was just introduced. They now offer 16 varieties in their Infusion line of flavored vodka. While cranberry is a very popular juice to mix with vodka, there have been relatively few cranberry flavored vodkas introduced. One that was once produced Stoli Cranberi is no longer, and two that are still available are combined with other fruits. Pinnacle Cranapple is blended with apple and Absolut Cherry combines cranberry with cherry and plum. Only someone reading the Absolut Cherry label would know cranberry was one of the ingredients. Coastal Cranberry is made with Midwestern grown wheat that is quadruple distilled, blended with water filtered through reverse osmosis, and triple filtered through California Limestone. Review: Lithuanian Cranberry Vodka
Lithuanian Cranberry vodka is made with the finest grain grown in Lithuania and water that has been purified through reverse osmosis. It is triple distilled then filtered four times. First through quartz sand, then birch coal, a secondary sand filter, and finally it runs through silver filters. Natural flavors including cranberry juice and cranberries are then added before bottling at 70 proof. Read more
Review: Pinnacle Cran Apple Vodka
Pinnacle Cran Apple vodka was just released. It comes 51 years after Ocean Spray introduced the industry’s first juice blend when they introduced their Cran-Apple juice in 1963. Ocean Spray currently offers 12 different cranberry blended drinks. This gives Pinnacle several options should they decide to expand their flavored vodka line. Pinnacle Cran Apple is made with French grown wheat and pure French spring water. It is distilled five times before it is shipped to Frankfort Kentucky where all natural flavors are added before bottling at 70 proof. Read more
Review: Smirnoff Cranberry Vodka
Smirnoff Cranberry vodka was introduced in 2003. It was originally called Twist of Cranberry. It is one of 39 flavors they create with their Recipe 21 vodka as the base. Recipe 21 is made with premium grain which is triple distilled and filtered ten times. Smirnoff Cranberry adds natural cranberry flavor. Natural cranberry is tart but not sweet so to offset the tartness cranberry juice is filled with added sugar. To offset the tartness of cranberry, several distillers have added a second much sweeter fruit to their cranberry flavored vodkas. Smirnoff Cranberry does not add a secondary fruit flavor. Read more
Review: Absolut Cherrykran Vodka
Absolut Cherrykran vodka was introduced May 2012. It is one of twenty flavored vodkas Absolut creates in Ahus Sweden for the US market. Cherrykran is made with Swedish winter wheat and pure deep well water. A continuous distillation process is used before all natural sun-ripe cherries, fresh white cranberry and sweet plum flavor is added. White cranberries are the same berry as the red cranberry, they are just picked a few weeks early. They are less tart and have not turned red yet. No sugar or preservatives are added before bottling at 80 proof. Read more
Review: Stoli Cranberi Vodka
Stoli Cranberi vodka was introduced November 2005. It is one of 17 flavors created by Stoli in Latvia starting with wheat and pure artisian well water that is triple distilled and filtered four times before natural flavors are added. The cranberry is one of three fruits commercially grown that are native to North America. The others are Concord grape and blueberry. Originally used by native Americans for food, dyes and medicine, cranberries are still primarily grown in North America with Wisconsin and Massachusetts the leading suppliers. Read more
Review: Finlandia Cranberry Vodka
Finlandia Cranberry vodka was introduced in 1994. It is one of ten flavors Finlandia currently creates in Kaskenkorva Finland. They start with pure glacial spring water and the finest six row barley. A continuous distillation process with more than 200 distillation steps that leaves no impurities to filter is used. All natural cranberry flavor is infused before bottling at 35% alcohol. Read more
Review Deep Eddy Cranberry Vodka
Deep Eddy Cranberry vodka was introduced in February 2014. It is made in Austin Texas with sweet corn, pure cane sugar, and spring water from deep aquifers in Texas Hill Country. It is column distilled ten times in a 20 foot column still before slowly filtered six times over charcoal. Juice from cranberry’s harvested from family owned farms in Massachusetts and pure cane sugar are then added. Read more
