Review: Epic Cake Vodka

Epic Cake vodka - CopyEpic Cake vodka is one of ten vodka flavors they create with vodka distilled in France.  Epic was acquired by Sazerac, May 2012 from White Rock who after selling their Pinnacle Vodka and Calico Jack Rum line to Jim Beam, sold dozens of the remaining brands to Sazerac.  While part of White Rock, I believe the vodka was distilled in Iowa and flavored in Lewiston Maine.  Sazerac relaunched the brand February 2013, with vodka made with hand selected wheat from the Champagne region of France and triple distilled in the Cognac region of France.  It is then flavored and bottled in the US. Review: UV Cake Vodka

UV Cake - CopyUV Cake vodka is described as a white cake flavored vodka.  UV also makes a Chocolate Cake flavored vodka.  It is made with yellow corn, and water from deep aquifers in Minnesota that is further filtered through reverse osmosis.  UV Cake is then distilled four times and filtered with active carbon before all natural ingredients are added for flavoring and it is bottled at 30% alcohol. Review: Three Olives Cake Vodka

Three Olives Birthday CakeThree Olives Cake vodka was introduced in 2011.  It is one of 24 flavors Three-O creates in England.  It is distilled in England with English winter wheat and water from Lake Vyrnmy in Wales.  It is quadruple distilled and triple filtered through charcoal.    Artificial flavors are added in Lawrenceburg Indiana where it is bottled at 35% alcohol.  Read more »

Review: Pinnacle Cake Vodka

Pinnacle Cake - CopyPinnacle Cake vodka was one of twelve vodka flavors Pinnacle introduced in 2011.  Made with French wheat and pure French spring water it is flavored and bottled in Frankfort Kentucky at 35% alcohol.  While cake and vodka may not seem like a natural fit, with a dozen vodkas now featuring cake in some form, the market disagrees. Review: Pearl Wedding Cake Vodka

Pearl Wedding Cake - CopyPearl Wedding Cake vodka was introduced in September 2011.  It was the ninth of 17 flavors St Louis based Luxco creates under the Pearl name.  Crafted in micro batches using pure water from Canadian Rocky Mountain streams and soft Canadian winter wheat.  It is distilled five times then filtered to perfection.  It is then infused with natural and artificial flavors and bottled at 35% alcohol. UV Chocolate Cake - CopyUV Chocolate Cake is one of 20 flavors of vodka produced by Phillips Distilling in Princeton Minnesota.  It is made with yellow corn, pure water drawn from deep aquifers that is further filtered through reverse osmosis.  It is then distilled four times and filtered with active carbon before natural flavors are added.  It was introduced in June of 2012 with their Whipped flavor and bottled at 30% alcohol.
