Review: 360 Huckleberry Vodka

360 Huckleberry Vodka is one of eleven flavored vodka’s made by the Earth Friendly Distilling Company of Weston Missouri.  Each flavor starts with a vodka base made from American grain distilled six times and filtered five times through granulated coconut shells, and then another time through a .45 micron filter.  Natural flavors are infused before bottling at 70 proof. Review: 360 Red Delicious Apple Vodka

360 Red Delicious Apple Vodka - Copy360 Red Delicious Apple Vodka was just released by Earth Friendly Distilling Company, a division of McCormick Distilling of Weston Missouri.  It is one of twelve vodka varieties they currently produce with American grain that is distilled six times and filtered six times.  This is a change from previously reviewed 360 vodka’s that were distilled 4 times and filtered 5 times.  Natural flavor is infused before bottling at 70 proof.  The Red Delicious Apple was developed on a farm in Iowa in 1872.  By 1980 Red Delicious Apples accounted for 75% of the apple harvest in Washington State.  While that percentage is now closer to 30%, the Red Delicious Apple is still the most popular apple grown in Washington.  It will also be the prettiest apple sitting on the teachers desk.  Read more »

360 bing cherry - Copy360 Bing Cherry vodka was introduced in 2010 by Earth Friendly Distilling, a division of McCormick Distilling in Weston Missouri.  They now produce 13 vodka varieties.  Bing Cherry starts with American grain that is quadruple distilled and filtered five times before it is infused with natural Bing cherry flavor.  Bing cherries are large firm dark red cherries that are primarily sold and eaten fresh.  They are the top selling cherry in the US.  They were crossbred and created in Oregon by horticulturist Seth Lewelling and named after his long time Chinese foreman Ah Bing. 360 madagascar vanilla vodka - Copy360 Madagascar Vanilla vodka was introduced in 2011 by Earth Friendly Distilling, a division of McCormick Distilling in Weston Missouri.  They currently produce 13 flavored vodkas.  Madagascar Vanilla starts with American grain that is quadruple distilled and filtered five times before it is infused with natural Madagascar vanilla beans.  Vanilla is native to Mexico and because a local species of bee was its only natural pollinator, Mexico was the only region to successfully produce vanilla until a twelve year old slave discovered the plant could be hand pollinated.  Today the majority of vanilla is produced in Madagascar and Indonesia. 360 double chololate - Copy360 Double Chocolate vodka was introduced October 2010.  It is made in Weston Missouri by Earth Friendly Distilling, a division of McCormick Distilling.  Their commitment to the environment includes using bottles made from recycled glass and labels made from recycled paper printed with a water based ink.  360 Double Chocolate starts with American grain that is quadruple distilled and filtered five times before it is infused with a double dose of natural chocolate flavor.  Based on the bottles label I’m guessing the Double Chocolate name refers to White and Dark Chocolate.
