Smirnoff Iced Cake vodka was introduced with their Kissed Caramel flavor in 2012. It is one of 37 flavored vodkas Smirnoff makes in the US with grain spirits that are triple distilled, filtered 10 times, and bottled at 30% alcohol.The aroma is faint but I pick up some cake notes. The vodka is sweet, but its an iced cake flavored vodka, I would be disappointed if it wasn’t. The flavor starts out with white cake followed by vanilla. There is some heat but no vodka flavor. Additional sips lead with vanilla frosting followed by the cake. At 30% alcohol it is a little lighter than most flavored vodka’s, which makes it easier to drink straight. The flavor profile also makes it very mixable.
