Review: Ledgerock Vodka
Ledgerock Vodka is Farm Distilled on Jay and Heide Retzer’s 300 acre farm nestled between Fond Du Lac and Eden Wisconsin. Ledgerock Distillery was founded June 2018. Besides vodka they also hand craft Farm Boy Bourbon, Grandview Garden Gin, Frostbite Gin, Retzer Farm Bourbon, and Ledgerock Corn Whiskey. Ledgerock Vodka is made from 100% corn grown on their farm and limestone filtered water from the Niagara Escarpment. It is triple distilled and hand bottled on site. The aroma leads with marshmallow, caramel, cake batter, and citrus. The sweet vanilla entry is joined by citrus and boiled sweet corn building to an orange chiffon cake peak. It fades with cake batter and finishes warm with orange peel and a mild peppery sting.
