As a reminder Benham’s Sonoma Dry Gin is infused with twelve botanicals including juniper, peppermint, orris root, grains of paradise, coriander, chamomile, galangal, Meyer lemon, star anise, cardamom, buddhas hand, and angelica. The aroma is floral, wood, lemon, cinnamon, allspice, peppermint, and juniper. Additional time in the glass brings out raspberry, grapefruit, vanilla, caramel, ginger, and thyme. The sweet lemon and baking spice entry is joined by vanilla building to a tart raspberry, caramel peak. It fades with floral, vanilla, grape, cardamom, and ginger. The finish is dry, and oaky with coriander and juniper leaving peppermint, citrus, menthol, ginger, and thyme aftertaste. Benham’s Barrel Finished Gin is a smooth and complex gin with a cascade of flavors.
