Vodka seltzer brand leader High Noon doubled their sales in 2022, selling over 16 million cases. Truly got the message, and Truly Vodka Seltzer was introduced October 2022. Now its White Claw’s turn. Mark Anthony Brands launched White Claw Vodka last month and the vodka, made from 100% American Corn, is distilled 5 times and filtered 3 times using pressure equal to a 30 foot wave. This is the vodka base for White Claw Vodka + Soda. Real Fruit Juice, natural flavors and sparkling water are blended with the vodka. Each 12 ounce slim can weighs in with 4.5% alcohol, 100 calories, and 2 carbs. White Claw Vodka + Soda is sold in individual flavor 4 packs and a 4 flavor 8 can variety pack.
White Claw Vodka + Soda Pineapple: The aroma leads with sliced pineapple. The sweet pineapple entry builds to a juicy pineapple peak. It fades with tangy pineapple and subtle vodka flavor and finishes with sour pineapple, and club soda, leaving Smucker’s Pineapple Preserves, air popped popcorn, and toasted coconut notes from the vodka base.

White Claw Vodka + Soda Wild Cherry: The aroma leads with Wild Cherry Jell-O. The sweet and tart Wild Cherry Jell-O entry is joined by corn and toasted coconut notes from the vodka base building to a cherry licorice peak. It fades with black cherry and finishes with sour cherry and creamy vodka notes instead of the traditional carbon seltzer finish hard seltzers leave.

White Claw Vodka + Soda Watermelon: The aroma leads with strawberry soda and watermelon candy. The strawberry soda and watermelon candy entry builds to a tart fruit peak. It fades with juicy watermelon bubblegum and finishes with sour watermelon, coconut flake, and sweet corn notes from the vodka.

The Bottom Line: All four White Claw Vodka + Soda varieties are full flavored and while there is no added sugar the flavors come off sweetened. As someone who is not a fan of the burnt rubber taste of carbon seltzer some hard seltzers leave I appreciate the subtle vodka notes White Claw Vodka + Soda finishes with.
