Review: Sundays Tequila Seltzer Variety Pack

by Jeff Ellingson

Sundays Tequila Seltzer is crafted from their award winning tequila made from 100% sustainably farmed Blue Weber agave sourced from both the Highland and Lowland agave fields.  Mitchell Hayes founded Los Sundays in 2016 and released their first tequila September 2017.  The tequila is distilled in a family owned female founded distillery.  Each 12 ounce slim can of Sundays Tequila Seltzer is made with real tequila, real, juice, sparkling water, and natural flavors.

Sundays Agave Lime Tequila Seltzer:  The aroma leads with agave.  Sliced lime follows.  The sweet agave entry is joined by sweetened lime juice building to a tart lime and buttery agave peak.  While the lime flavor is natural tasting its not in your face straight lime juice.  It fades with sour lime and soft mineral water and finishes with lime and blanco tequila taste.  If you like Ranch Water cocktails you are going to like this one.

Grade: B+

Sundays Grapefruit Tequila Seltzer:  The aroma leads with agave.  Fresh peeled grapefruit follows.  The sweet agave entry is joined by fresh grapefruit building to a sugar dusted grapefruit and agave peak.  It fades with tart grapefruit and finishes with juicy grapefruit and blanco tequila taste.

Grade: A

Sundays Tropical Tequila Seltzer:  The aroma leads with mango.  Pineapple and agave follow.  The tropical mango entry is joined by pineapple and agave building to a Meyer lemon and sweet pineapple peak.  It fades with agave and finishes with juicy mango, tangy pineapple, blood orange, and blanco tequila taste.

Grade: A-

Sundays Watermelon Tequila Seltzer:  The aroma leads with watermelon and ripe banana.  Additional time brings out vanilla and agave.  The sweet watermelon and banana entry is joined by agave.  It fades with citrus and fresh watermelon and finishes with lime juice, vanilla, whole watermelon, and blanco tequila taste.
