Froggy B Vodka is made by Maison Ferrand from the finest organic French winter wheat harvested in July at the peak of maturity. It is distilled six times with the final distillation in a tiny copper pot still in the heart of France. Organic sugar and pure spring water are blended before bottling at 80 proof.The aroma is grain alcohol with a lemonade backing. The organic sugar enhanced entry has a soft mouth feel and sweet pastry flavor. Lemon citrus and vanilla arrive at the midpoint before fading with a long crisp peppery sting. The finish is warm and semidry with mineral texture, coconut bread, and briny licorice taste. While I enjoyed the mostly lemon citrus taste of Froggy B, the finish may be a little warm, and peppery for some to serve unmixed.
