Review: Skrewball Eggnog
Skrewball, The Original Peanut Butter Whiskey just released Skrewball Eggnog. It is made with real dairy cream, natural flavors and of course Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey. For those unfamiliar with Skrewball it was created in 2018 by Steve Yeng, a Cambodian immigrant and his wife Brittany Yeng. Steve and his family own a couple of restaurants including OB Noodle House in Ocean Beach California and The Holding Company in San Diego. A peanut butter flavored whiskey cocktail was the signature cocktail he developed for the restaurants. Steve thought a peanut butter flavored whiskey would be a big seller. He worked with his wife Brittany who has a Masters Degree in chemistry while she was on maternity leave to develop Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey. While brandy has been the traditional spirit to blend with eggnog, rum, cognac, and whiskey have also been used to make a tasty adult eggnog. Skrewball Eggnog weighs in at 29.5 proof. By comparison Rumchata is 27.5 proof and Bailey’s Irish Cream 34 proof. Read more 
Review: Cutwater Bali Hai Tiki Holiday Spirit
Cutwater Bali Hai Tiki Holiday Spirit is a seasonal Limited release cream liqueur. Cutwater Spirits produces a complete line of spirits at their distillery in San Diego California. Their spirits include Vodka, Gin, Whiskey, Tequila, Rum, and Liqueur’s. They also make a complete line of canned cocktails and a mild and spicy Bloody Mary cocktail mix. In crafting Tiki Holiday they start with the Bali Hai Tiki Gold Rum base that is made from pure cane sugar. Cream, cinnamon, allspice, and natural pineapple and coconut flavors are blended before bottling at 40 proof. Read more
Review: Members Mark Eggnog
Members Mark Eggnog as the name would suggest can be found at Sam’s Club’s. It is sold in a 1.75 liter plastic bottle, and priced at $9.98. At one time Sam’s Club’s also sold a private label Irish Cream liqueur under the O’Dowd’s label. O’Dowd’s Irish Cream and O’Dowd’s Pumpkin Irish Cream, which they also sold, were two of our highest scoring Irish Cream liqueurs. I was a little sad when Sam’s pull the plug on the brand. Members Mark Eggnog is made in Kentucky with Caribbean rum, real cream, cane sugar, and a medley of other classic ingredients. Some adult eggnog’s are made with brandy or bourbon and some have a blend of all three spirits. Read more
Review: Kirkland Eggnog Liqueur
Kirkland Eggnog Liqueur is produced by Levecke Corporation in Mira Loma California for Costco. It is made with real dairy cream, whiskey, spiced rum, brandy, and French vanilla. It is sold exclusively at Costco in 1.75 L plastic bottles, and priced at a $9.99. Levecke is a private label distillery that produces dozens of spirits including the previously reviewed Trader Joes Eggnog Liqueur. Read more
Review: Trader Joes Eggnog Liqueur
Trader Joes Eggnog Liqueur is made with real dairy cream, spiced rum, and French Brandy. This is my fourth eggnog liqueur review, and bottled at 29.5 proof it has the highest alcohol content. 29.5 proof is not especially high for a cream liqueur as RumChata is bottled at 27 proof and Baileys Irish Cream is bottled at 34 proof. Trader Joes Eggnog Liqueur is produced in Mira Loma California by Levecke Corporation, and it is sold at Trader Joe’s October-December, or while supply lasts. Read more
Review: Ole Smoky Shine Nog Moonshine
Ole Smoky Shine Nog moonshine was introduced on a National basis November 2014. It is a limited run holiday moonshine that was only available at their distillery in Gatlinburg Tennessee last year. It is crafted with their White Lightnin moonshine as a base. This is made with 100% grain neutral spirits that are distilled six times. Cream and natural spices are infused before bottling at 35 proof. Read more
Review: Holly Nog
Introduced in 2013, Holly Nog is made in Pewaukee Wisconsin by Midwest Custom Bottling. Midwest is the group behind Rum Chata. Packaged in a clear glass bottle at 14% alcohol and made with Wisconsin dairy cream, wine, sugar, and holiday spices, it is available from September until the supply is gone, usually around New Years. Review: Mothers Original Holiday Nog
Mothers Original Holiday Nog is made in Princeton Minnesota and bottled at 12.5% alcohol. It is made with rum and custard crème liqueur. They are part of the Crosby Lake Spirits Company portfolio that includes the previously reviewed Mothers Pumpkin Spice Cream and the Kinky and Ricacha brands of liqueur. Read more

Christian Brothers Holiday Nog was the first to bottle the natural flavors of eggnog and brandy. Made with their signature brandy in Bardstown Kentucky it is only available for about three months each year. Read more
