Review: Bacardi Rock Coconut Rum

Bacardi rock coconut - CopyBacardi Rock Coconut rum was introduced in 2010.  It is one of 15 flavored rums they create in Puerto Rico.  It is made with molasses and a single unique strain of yeast, Le Levadura Bacardi.  Bacardi ages their rum in lightly charred American White Oak barrels before being filtered through a mix of charcoal made from tropical woods, and coconut shells before being infused with rock melon and coconut water.  Rock Melon originates from India and Africa and it is a member of the cantaloupe family. Review: Bacardi Wolf Berry Rum

Bacardi wolf berry rum - CopyBacardi Wolf Berry rum was introduced June 2012 with their Black Razz flavored rum.  It is one of 15 flavored rums they make in Puerto Rico.  Wolf Berry is infused with natural blueberry and wolf berry, also known as Goji berry.  The Goji Berry is native to China and is considered a super food because of its high nutritional properties.  This has lead to increased sales and availability throughout North America.  Bacardi also introduced new packaging with this product that reveals red claw marks across the label when the bottle is chilled. Review: Bacardi Mango Fusion Rum

Bacardi Mango Fusion RumBacardi Mango Fusion rum was introduced in April 2014.  It is one of 15 flavored rums they make in Puerto Rico.  Bacardi has been distilling rum since 1852 when they launched their company in Cuba.  Bacardi is the worlds number one selling rum brand, and they were the first to bottle a flavored rum when they introduced their Limon flavor in 1995.  Mango Fusion, like their other flavored rums is bottled at 35% alcohol.  This is stronger than most competing brands including Malibu, Cruzan, and Parrot Bay.  Their flavored rums start at 21% alcohol.
