Burnetts Ruby Red Grapefruit Vodka was introduced May 2014. It is one of 36 flavors they create with 100% grain that is quadruple distilled and triple charcoal filtered. Natural flavors are then added. Having sold 2,610,000 cases of vodka in 2014, Burnetts has grown their vodka sales by over 1 million cases per year since 2010. While the price of Burnetts vodka, I paid $7.99 for a 750ml bottle, may have something to do with the success of the brand, price only works for the first bottle of Burnetts purchased. Review: Pau Maui Vodka
Pau Maui Vodka was introduced in 2008. The distillery is located at the old Maui Land and Pineapple Cannery on the slopes of Haleakala, in the middle of a pineapple field. It is crafted by Master Distiller Mark Nigbur who created his own Altius Vodka in Colorado Springs before he was enticed to Maui. Pau Maui is made with Maui Gold pineapple grown feet from the distillery and crystal clear Hawaiian spring water. Jack-O Traveler Pumpkin Shandy was introduced as a fall seasonal shandy in 2013. It is one of three seasonal shandy’s The Traveler Beer Company brews with ale and lemon peels in Cincinnati Ohio. Their other seasonal flavors include a Forbidden Apple, and Jolly Holiday Spice flavor. The Traveler Beer Company is part of the Alchemy and Science Group of craft breweries formed by Alan Newman the co-founder of The Magic Hat Brewery and his first employee, Stacey Steinmetz. This group is an independently operated subsidiary of The Boston Beer Works, the maker of Sam Adams Beer. Ole Smoky Big Orange Tennessee Moonshine is now available on a National basis. It was released for sale at their distilleries in Gaitlinburg and Pigeon Forge in 2014. Big Orange was named as a tribute to the University of Tennessee Football team. It is one of 23 flavors Ole Smoky creates for sale on a Regional, or National basis, with some only available at their distillery. Big Orange is crafted with a blend of 80% corn and 20% Grain. Review: Prichards Crystal Rum
Prichards Crystal Rum is one of seven rums they currently craft in an historic Kelso Tennessee schoolhouse. Master Distiller Phil Prichard has recently opened a second distillery in Nashville Tennessee to keep up with demand. The other rums are Cranberry, Key Lime, Peach Mango, Spiced, Fine, and Private Stock. His Crystal rum is made with the finest Grade A molasses made from sugar grown on Louisiana plantations. After a slow fermentation the rum is distilled five times in a small batch copper still and then bottled unaged. The rum is described as a traditional New England Style rum. Read more

Review: Nobleza Tequila Blanco
Nobleza Tequila Blanco was created by Paula Torres Symington. She runs the first female and minority owned tequila company. The 100% Blue Agave used to craft this tequila are grown on the Torres family farm in the rich volcanic soil of the Highland of Jalisco. Once mature the agave is shredded and slow baked with steam in brick ovens. The agave juice is then extracted and it ferments in copper tanks before it is double distilled in copper pot stills. Caravella Limoncello was created by the Sperone Brothers using a family recipe dating back to 1898. The peels from lemons grown on Italy’s Amalfi coast are soaked in a neutral grain spirit and then blended with juice from those lemons, and sugar, before bottling at 56 proof. Caravella also crafts an Orangecello that is made with Sicilian orange peel neutral grain spirits and its juice. Read more

Prairie Organic vodka is crafted with a single vintage #2 yellow organic corn grown on three family farms in Minnesota. It is distilled to taste not a prescribed number of times at a farmer owned distillery in Benson Minnesota. The leftover corncobs are converted to fuel and the leftover distillers grain is used by local farmers for feed. They also create a cucumber flavored vodka and gin.
