It is one of 17 flavors Stoli now produces in Latvia. They start with wheat and pure artesian well water and they are distilled three times and filtered four times. Salted Karamel is the second of three flavors now included in Stoli’s Indulgent flavor line. In the bottle the aroma is caramel corn. The flavor starts out with both a salty and sweet caramel taste that lingers a little longer than some of the salted caramel flavored vodkas that transition from a sweet entry to salty finish. The only sign of vodka is a mild to medium warming. Additional sips bring out some vanilla and toffee notes. While the salt is present it doesn’t seem to dominate the finish like some other brands.
