The Barcraft line of vodka’s are designed to be mixed with a single ingredient to create bar quality cocktails at home. It is made with grain distilled in four column stills in Pekin Illinois, and triple filtered through California limestone. It is then delivered by railcar to San Jose California where it is blended with water filtered through reverse osmosis. Natural flavors are added before bottling at 60 proof.The aroma is cucumber with a sweet watermelon backing. The sweet watermelon entry is joined by cucumber. It fades with lime, a touch of heat, a burn as I swallow, and a light peppery sting. The finish is fast and dry leaving a sweet cucumber taste. I then mixed as recommended on the bottle, 1 part Skyy Barcraft Watermelon Fresca to 2 parts club soda, and served on the rocks. The flavor sequence reversed, as a cucumber flavored entry was joined by watermelon. There was no heat or burn and the flavor is subtle.
