Belvedere Black Raspberry vodka is made with their super premium vodka that is made in Poland with Dankowskie rye and pure Artesian water. It is distilled four times and filtering twice. Fresh black currents, red raspberries and rose petal essence, are gently soaked up to five weeks. The flavors and aromas are extracted in a process called maceration. These essential oils are then blended with the vodka. No sugar or artificial flavor is added before bottling at 80 proof. The aroma leads with black currents with some raspberry notes and a floral backing. The flavor enters with natural unsweetened black current flavor. Raspberry with a hint of rose pedal join in creating a flavorful peak. There is very little heat with a very smooth fade before a dry natural raspberry flavored finish. This is a very smooth vodka with very little vodka taste, and if you are a fan of black currents you may even score this vodka higher than I did.
