Review: Baileys Strawberries and Cream

Baileys Strawberries and Cream is a seasonal Limited Edison liqueur that will be available February-April or until supply lasts.  I was lucky enough to get my hands on a bottle a little early.  This is their second seasonal flavor following Baileys Pumpkin Spice.  While no ingredients are listed on the bottle, Baileys Original Irish Cream is made with aged Irish whiskey, grain spirits, fresh dairy cream, and a unique chocolate blend.  This bottle reads Baileys Strawberries and Cream is infused with a delightful ripe strawberry flavor and the taste of delicious vanilla. Review: Baileys Almande Almond Milk Liqueur

baileys-almonde-liqueur-copyBaileys Almande Almond Milk Liqueur was released in select markets May 2016.  I found my bottle in California.  Baileys Almande does not feature their trademark Irish Cream.  It is crafted with almond milk.  My initial thought was this is a little like McDonalds serving soy burgers.  The almond milk is made from sweet almond oil and almond essence extracted from crushed almonds, cane sugar, and purified water with a touch of real vanilla.  There is no mention of the source of alcohol.  Baileys Almande is gluten free and vegan friendly. Review: Baileys Pumpkin Spice

baileys-pumpkin-spice-liqueur-copyBaileys Pumpkin Spice was just released.  As the bottle states, this is a Limited Edition.  Could this be the start of a seasonal flavor line of Baileys Irish Cream Liqueurs?  I hope so.  Baileys Pumpkin Spice is the third pumpkin flavored Irish Cream liqueur I’m aware of.  I previously reviewed both Mollys and ODowds Pumpkin Spice Irish Cream liqueurs.  Baileys Pumpkin Spice is made with aged Irish Whiskey, grain spirits, fresh dairy cream, and natural flavors, and is bottled at 34 proof.    Read more »

Review: Baileys Dulce de Leche Irish Cream Liqueur

Baileys Dulce de Leche - CopyBaileys Dulce de Leche Irish Cream liqueur was just introduced in the US.  It has been available in Mexico and the Carribean since last October.  Dulce de Leche is a popular South American confection created by slowly heating sweetened milk until it is golden in color and syrupy.  This brings the Baileys US count back up to five flavors of Irish Cream. Review: Baileys Salted Caramel Irish Cream Liqueur

baileys salted caramel - CopyBaileys Salted Caramel Irish Cream Liqueur was introduced just in time for Thanksgiving, or as some people call it, the start of Irish cream season.  It replaces Baileys with a hint of Caramel.  In one year Baileys has completely revamped their flavored line of Irish Cream.  Gone are their Hint of Caramel, Coffee, Mint, and Hazelnut.  These flavors have been replaced with Chocolate Cherry, Vanilla Cinnamon, and now Salted Caramel.  By my count that leaves us one down from last year, maybe Baileys has a pre-Christmas surprise.  If that’s the case I’m hoping they start sharing their Orange Truffle or Chocolat Luxe flavors.  These are two flavors Baileys has kept to themselves across the pond. Review: Baileys Chocolate Cherry Irish Cream

002 - CopyBaileys Chocolate Cherry Irish Cream was just launched and I was lucky enough to get my hands on a bottle a little early.  It is one of six Irish Cream flavors Baileys currently creates for the US market.  While I had heard rumblings of a new Baileys flavor to replace the recently departed Baileys with a Hint Of Mint Chocolate, I had not heard any specifics.  My initial thought was Baileys might start bringing over some of the tempting flavors they have kept on their side of the pond.  Flavors like Orange Truffle, Biscotti, or possibly even their Chocolat Luxe.  While I have not given up hope of tasting those three flavors, I am very excited to break open my bottle of their new Chocolate Cherry.  Baileys describes the taste as their Original Baileys blended with luscious chocolate and seductive dark cherries.  I can’t wait. Review: Baileys with a hint of Mint Chocolate

Baileys with a hint of Chocolate MintBaileys with a hint of Mint Chocolate was introduced in the US as a limited edition St Patrick’s day offering in 2006, and it is still available nearly eight years later.  That may be changing soon.  The Baileys US web site no longer features hint of mint chocolate and their UK site states it is no longer available in the UK.   Read more »

Review: Baileys with a hint of Coffee

Baileys with a hint of Coffee was introduced in 2008.  It followed the successful release of their caramel and mint flavors.  By adding dark roasted coffee to their aged Irish whiskey, spirits, and fresh dairy cream they have created a product that screams to be blended with ice for the ultimate adult Frappuccino style beverage.Baileys with a hint of Coffee  Read more »

Review: Baileys Vanilla Cinnamon

Bailey Vanilla CinnamonBaileys Vanilla Cinnamon was launched in August 2013, and it is one of six flavors now available from Baileys in the US.  The offer additional flavors in different markets.  Created with Madagascar vanilla and cinnamon my first thought was this must be their responce to the success of Rum Chata.  Taller and thinner than their Original Irish Cream bottle and featuring a vanilla blossom and cinnamon stick on the label, Baileys has created a fresh look for their entire line of Irish cream liqueurs.
