Review: Casa Lotos Sotol Blanco

Casa Lotos Sotol Blanco was Co-Founded by Aaron Dujoyne, and first introduced in the US February 2024.  It is crafted by the Ruelas family, fourth generation sotolero’s.  The entire process is accomplished with solar power.  It is made from 100% wild native dasylirion grown for 12-22 years without pesticides.  The head of the dasylirion is cooked in brick ovens.  Dasylirion is a member of the asparagus family.  The juice is fermented in native pine and then double distilled in copper stills.  Casa Lotos Sotol was awarded a Double Gold Medal at the 2024 & 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
