The orange and grapefruit flavored entry is the flavor profile I associate with blood orange taste. It builds to a bright whole fruit, blood orange peak. The long zest flavored fade is spicy with a warm peppery sting, and while the finish is smooth there is some heat and vodka taste. This is an 80 proof vodka after all. The flavor does not burst from the glass like some of their sugar enhanced orange vodka competitors, but there is enough natural tasting blood orange flavor to make a tasty cocktail.
