Review: Pinnacle Cake Vodka

Pinnacle Cake - CopyPinnacle Cake vodka was one of twelve vodka flavors Pinnacle introduced in 2011.  Made with French wheat and pure French spring water it is flavored and bottled in Frankfort Kentucky at 35% alcohol.  While cake and vodka may not seem like a natural fit, with a dozen vodkas now featuring cake in some form, the market disagrees. Review: Pinnacle Cookie Dough Vodka

Pinnacle Cookie Dough - CopyPinnacle Cookie Dough vodka was introduced in 2011.  It is one of 40 flavors Pinnacle creates starting with pure French spring water and wheat.  Imitation chocolate chip cookie dough flavor is added in Frankfort Kentucky where it is bottled at 35% alcohol.  My only questions are, what took Pinnacle so long? and why have no other brands created their own cookie flavored vodkas? Review: Pinnacle Cinnabon Vodka

Pinnacle Cinnamon Roll - CopyPinnacle Cinnabon vodka is the newest flavor introduced by Beam under their Pinnacle banner.  It is made with vodka imported from France and bottled with imitation flavor in Frankfort Kentucky.  The adhesive label on their trademark blue bottle features a cinnamon roll that looks more like one I baked from a tube, than one I purchased at a mall.    With over 70 different Cinnabon products, and 40 different Pinnacle Vodka flavors already available, it was only a matter of time before the two joined forces.  After rejecting the first 14 cinnamon roll flavored vodka combinations, Pinnacle finally created one good enough to include the Cinnabon name. Review: Pinnacle Strawberry Shortcake Vodka

Pinnacle Strawberry Shortcake - CopyPinnacle Strawberry Shortcake vodka was introduced June 13 2013, one day prior to National Strawberry Shortcake day.  Made in Kentucky with vodka imported from France and artificial flavors, it is bottled at 35% alcohol.  After years of playing second fiddle to raspberry flavored vodka, distillers seem to have discovered strawberry this year as Skyy, Svedka and Three Olives also introduced strawberry flavored vodkas in 2013.  Curiously Skyy uses Wild strawberries and the other three blend their strawberry with other flavors.  Read more »

Review: Pinnacle Red Licorice Vodka

Pinnacle Red Licorice - CopyPinnacle Red Licorice vodka was introduced in 2013.  If you are a fan of their Gummy vodka you will be happy to learn this is the same flavor with the rebranded Red Licorice name.  Maybe Pinnacle ran out of flavor ideas before they ran out of names, or maybe they just wanted to introduce the first red licorice flavored vodka.  With Gummy they were the second Swedish fish flavored vodka following Hard Candy’s Red Fish vodka, which is still available.  This is made with all natural flavors.
