Review: Bird Dog Strawberry Whiskey
Bird Dog Strawberry Whiskey was just released along with a Ruby Red Grapefruit flavor. The Western Springs Beverage Company now produces ten whiskey flavors including Maple, Chocolate, Apple, Blackberry, Peach, Spiced, Jalapeno Honey, and Hot Cinnamon under the Bird Dog label. Bird Dog Strawberry starts with a whiskey base made from corn, malted barely, and rye. The whiskey is aged in white oak barrels before strawberry flavor is infused. Bird Dog Apple Whiskey was introduced May 2015 along with a Chocolate flavored whiskey. The Bird Dog Whiskey product line now includes nine varieties. These include Bourbon, and Blackberry, Peach, Hot Cinnamon, Maple, Jalapeno Honey, and Spiced Whiskey. It is made with corn, malted barley, and rye, and it is aged in oak barrels.
