360 Red Delicious Apple Vodka was just released by Earth Friendly Distilling Company, a division of McCormick Distilling of Weston Missouri. It is one of twelve vodka varieties they currently produce with American grain that is distilled six times and filtered six times. This is a change from previously reviewed 360 vodka’s that were distilled 4 times and filtered 5 times. Natural flavor is infused before bottling at 70 proof. The Red Delicious Apple was developed on a farm in Iowa in 1872. By 1980 Red Delicious Apples accounted for 75% of the apple harvest in Washington State. The uncomplicated country-living lifestyle found in Dutchess County, located one hundred miles north of New York City was the inspiration for the brand. Peony Vodka has an all women management team and 80% of the founding investors are also self-made women. Peony Vodka is distilled five times from American wheat, then filtered twice through charcoal.
