Review: Crispin Original Hard Apple Cider

Crispin original hard cider - CopyCrispin Original Hard Apple Cider is naturally fermented using fresh pressed apple juice from a blend of US west coast apples.  Pure apple juice is added after fermenting to smooth the taste and reduce the alcohol content.  Crispin started making cider in 2004 in Minnesota.  In 2010 they acquired Fox Barrel Cider and moved their production to Colfax California.  In 2012 they were acquired by Miller-Coors. Stella Artois Cidre - CopyStella Artois Cidre was introduced by Anheuser Busch in the US in May 2013.  They describe it as a crisp distinctive European style cider designed to be savored and is very different than the sweeter domestic ciders.  It is made with hand picked apples from North and South America in Baldwinsville New York and is available in 4 packs of 12 ounce bottles and single 24 ounce bottles. Review: Johnny Appleseed Hard Apple Cider

Johnny Appleseed Hard Cider - CopyJohnny Appleseed Hard Apple Cider was introduced in April 2014.  It is produced by Anheuser Busch in Baldwinsville New York.  While Johnny Appleseed is not the first hard cider created by InBev or Anheuser Busch, they already produce Michelob Ultra Light Cider, and Stella Artois Cidre, this is the hard cider they hope will compete with industry leaders Angry Orchard and Woodchuck for market dominance in North America.  More than 750 consumers from the US, Canada, and the United Kingdom co-designed the brand from the taste profile to packaging.  It is made with hard cider sourced from red varieties including Fuji and Gala grown in the US and around the globe.
