FrappaChata Iced Coffee was recently released for sale in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. National distribution will soon follow. It is made from a blend of RumChata and dark roast coffee. RumChata is a blend of five times distilled Caribbean rum, Wisconsin dairy cream, and cinnamon, with natural and artificial flavors. Blue Chair Bay Key Lime Rum Cream was recently released. I have been checking liquor stores shelves for weeks since I first heard of it’s existence. It is one of eight rum varieties Kenny Chesney has in his Blue Chair Bay product line. I have enjoyed all of them so far. Key Lime Rum Cream starts with a white rum base, distilled and aged in oak barrels at the West Indies Rum distillery in Barbados. Sassy Girl Rum Cream is produced by the Dehner Distillery in Clive Iowa for Hustle 247 Inc. It is made with real dairy cream, rum, and natural flavors. Sassy Girl Rum Cream is part of a full line of wine, beer, and spirits created with a roaring 20’s prohibition theme, sold by Alphonse Capone Enterprises. They are probably best known for their Tommy Gun Vodka that comes in a tommy gun shaped bottle. Read more

La Crema Especial Horchata Cream Liqueur is made in by Leveche Corporation, a private label bottler in Mira Loma California. This is the same house that distributes Ron Vicaro, Hana Bay, and Whalers Rum, and O’Connor’s Irish Cream Liqueur. Distribution of this product is limited. I found my bottle at a Kroger Grocery store. This is yet another Rum Chata clone, and with several very good tasting clones already on the market, La Crema Especial may have trouble finding shelf space. Read more

Caruva Horchata Cream Liqueur is contract produced by United States Distilled Products in Princeton Minnesota. This is the same distillery that produces UV Vodka. Caruva is crafted with Caribbean Rum, cream, and natural cinnamon flavors. With a dozen Rum Chata clones on the market today, Caruva has stood out winning a Double Gold Medal at the 2014 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Read more

Brinley Gold Shipwreck Coconut Rum Cream was just released. Brinley also makes five flavored rums including Spiced, Vanilla, Coffee, Mango, and Coconut. The Brinley family has been crafting rum on St Kitts, since 2002. At 69 square miles St Kitts is the smallest country in the Western Hemisphere. Their Coconut Rum Cream is made with rum that is column distilled and aged for four years in oak bourbon barrels.
