UV Whipped vodka was introduced June 2012 with their Chocolate Cake flavored vodka. It is one of 21 vodkas they create with yellow corn and purified water from deep aquifers in Princeton Minnesota. UV Whipped is distilled four times then filtered with activated carbon before natural flavors are added.
The aroma is vanilla, whipped cream, spice cake and vodka. The flavor enters as a very sweet vanilla building to a spicy whipped cream peak before fading with a mild mouth warming on the slightly peppery and lightly bitter finish that leaves a burn as it slides down my throat. While I pick up some whipped cream flavor I don’t pick up any of the creaminess I get with some of the other whipped cream flavored vodkas. For a creamy tasting cocktail try a UV Sundae.
