Stoli White Pomegranik vodka was introduced May 2010. It is the only White Pomegranate flavored vodka currently on the market today. The white pomegranate is native to Iraq, south of Baghdad. It differs from the more popular red pomegranate in that it has fewer tannins and is less tart. It is one of 17 vodka flavors Stoli crafts with wheat and pure artesian well water. It is triple distilled and filtered four times before natural white pomegranate flavor is infused.The aroma is cherry, pomegranate, and bubble gum. In my mouth the feel is soft mineral water. The subtle cherry flavored entry builds as it warms in my mouth to a sweet white pomegranate peak. It fades with a touch of pepper and vodka flavor before a smoky, oaky, semidry finish. This vodka has very little heat and the flavor is very natural with little or no added sugar, but, while the finish is smooth, the smoke and oak taste is a little distracting.
