Rock Town Grape Arkansas Lightning was introduced September 2013. It is one of five moonshine flavors crafted at the first legal distillery in the state of Arkansas since prohibition. Rock Town Grape is pot distilled from Arkansas corn in grown within 125 miles of the distillery in a copper pot still. It is then blended with all natural grape flavor before bottling at 40 proof.The aroma is grape bubblegum with a caramel and a corn whiskey backing. The sweet grape soda entry is joined by caramel and corn taste building to a tart grape peak. It fades with very little heat and a mild burn on the back of my throat.
