Review: Pinnacle Marshmallow Vodka

by Jeff Ellingson

Pinnacle Marshmallow - CopyPinnacle Marshmallow vodka was introduced in 2011.  It is one of 40 flavors currently made by Pinnacle with pure French spring water and wheat that is distilled five times then bottled at 35% alcohol with imitation marshmallow flavors in Frankfort Kentucky.   In the bottle the aroma is marshmallow fluff.  Poured in my glass I pick up some vanilla.  The flavor starts with an accurate marshmallow taste with vanilla and sugar leading the way.  There is medium heat and just a hint of vodka flavor on the finish.  This may be a little hot for some served straight as a martini, but it mixes well.  Try it as a substitute for vanilla vodka.
