Evan Williams Peach Bourbon was released in limited markets May 2015. It is now available nationally. Peach is one of several flavored bourbons made by Heaven Hills under the Evan Willaims label. Other flavors include Cherry, Fire, and Honey. The bourbon base is made with Corn, Malted Barley, and Rye. A liqueur made from peaches is then blended with the bourbon.The aroma is sweet peach cobbler and caramel with a bourbon backing. The sugary peach entry has a syrupy feel, and the sweetness of a glazed Krispy Kreme donut. Caramel flavor arrives at the midpoint. It fades with canned peaches in syrup flavor, with a warm peppery sting, before finishing with honey and bourbon taste. Evan Williams tastes more like a liqueur than a flavored bourbon, and because of that I would recommend mixing it in a cocktail.
