Today is May 5th, you didn’t think I would be reviewing a scotch today did you? Don Abraham is a tequila I have followed for some time and this is the third different bottle I’ve seen it packaged in. Don Abraham is crafted from 100% blue agave organically grown on a single estate. The agave is hand selected and slow cooked in traditional stone ovens. After a double distillation the tequila is rested for 4 months before bottling. The aroma is cooked agave, vanilla, citrus, banana, and white pepper. The tropical fruit and agave entry is joined by vanilla and citrus flavor that builds to a creamy banana peak. It fades with lime flavor and finishes with a warm white peppery sting and bright grape taste. Don Abraham Organic Blanco is a sweet and very tasty tequila that has a nice burst of flavor, I attribute to the single estate organic grown agave used to craft it.
