Review: 360 Double Chocolate Vodka

by Jeff Ellingson

360 double chololate - Copy360 Double Chocolate vodka was introduced October 2010.  It is made in Weston Missouri by Earth Friendly Distilling, a division of McCormick Distilling.  Their commitment to the environment includes using bottles made from recycled glass and labels made from recycled paper printed with a water based ink.  360 Double Chocolate starts with American grain that is quadruple distilled and filtered five times before it is infused with a double dose of natural chocolate flavor.  Based on the bottles label I’m guessing the Double Chocolate name refers to White and Dark Chocolate. In the bottle the aroma is chocolate brownies.  Poured in my glass I pick up cocoa powder.  In my mouth the feel is slightly syrupy.  The flavor is chocolate brownie peaking to dark chocolate.  Additional sips bring out the taste of chocolate wafers fading with a medium mouth warming from the vodka.  While I don’t taste any white chocolate here there is enough chocolate flavor to satisfy even a chocoholic.
