Review: Natural Light Black Cherry Lemonade Vodka

Natural Light Black Cherry Lemonade Vodka was just released.  If the Natural Light name sounds familiar you are probably vaguely remembering your younger days spent downing Natty Light at your favorite college bar.  You may also recall waking up in the early afternoon after a night of drinking UV’s colorful flavored Vodka.  Did you ever wonder what would happen if the two nights collided.  While not exactly a blend of the two campus favorites, Natural Light is produced by Anheuser Busch.  Black Cherry Lemonade joins Strawberry Lemonade, and Lemonade in their current vodka lineup.  All three varieties are made from a corn distilled alcohol base, and for a limited time all three come with a money back guarantee. Review: Natural Light Strawberry Lemonade Vodka

When you run out of ideas for additional hard seltzer flavors, and Bud Light beer flavors, and you already have a successful Naturdays Natural Light Beer line what do you do next?  Anheuser Busch has decided to create a new flavored vodka line.  The new Natural Light flavored vodka brand consists of three lemonade flavors.  Today we are reviewing Natural Light Strawberry Lemonade Vodka.  The other two flavors are Black Cherry Lemonade, and Lemonade.  Priced around $10 for a 750ml bottle, two things are apparent.  A-B is going after the same under 30 audience Natty beer has successfully won over, and they will target UV, Svedka, Smirnoff, and New Amsterdam flavored vodka drinkers.  Natural Light Strawberry Lemonade is made from a corn vodka base.  It is distilled 4 times and bottled in Louisville Kentucky.  Are the added flavors natural?  Who knows.  Is the color certified?  They don’t say.  Did I tell you this is priced about $10 for a 750ml bottle?  A-B is also launching the brand with a money back guarantee for a limited time.  A-B Natural Light Strawberry Lemonade Vodka is said to be best served as a chilled shot or mixed with club soda. Review: Stumpys Unbroken Peach Vodka

Stumpys Unbroken Peach Vodka is crafted at Stumpys Spirits Distillery in Columbia Illinois.  Adam and his wife Laura Stumpf opened their distillery July 18, 2015.  Adam rents the 10 acres the distillery sits on from his father and uncle who manage the family farm.  He also rents 50 acres of land around the distillery for crafting his spirits, farming it entirely by himself when possible.  The Stumpys Unbroken Vodka base is made from 100% family grown corn on their 8th generation farm, and fresh limestone well water, also sourced from their farm.  Once distilled the spirit is filtered through a custom blend of activated carbon.  The vodka is then infused with fresh tree-ripened peaches from Eckerts Orchards in neighboring Belleville Illinois. Review: Grey Goose Essences Watermelon & Basil Vodka

Grey Goose Essences Watermelon & Basil is one of three vodka’s in the new Grey Goose Essences product line.  Before there was Hard Seltzer, and Peanut Butter Whiskey, and before Fireball Whisky became a monster hit, flavored vodka was the hottest adult beverage.  While flavored vodka sales and selection are not what they used to be, 0 sugar botanical vodka is the hottest flavored vodka trend right now.  With the exception of Grey Goose La Vanille, Grey Goose has done a great job with their flavored vodka.  I also enjoyed Grey Goose Essences Strawberry & Lemongrass so I’m anxious to try Grey Goose Watermelon & Basil.
